I was recently browsing through channels and came across a wonderful
tip from The Style Network regarding hair. I suspected that I was
washing my hair all wrong because no matter what brand of products I
used it never seemed to have the type of texture I longed for.
According to TSN, you should only be using shampoo on the roots of
your hair, including ONLY about 5-7cm of the length. This probably
sounds so strange, because often we feel like all of our hair is dirty
and needs to be scrubbed. Well basically, the remainder of the product
will run down the length of the hair anyway getting rid of any muck.
Another pointer is to massage your scalp, but don’t scrunch up your roots. Rather, work in the direction of the hair growth. I find it easier to flip my hair over now, when washing/conditioning.
And when it comes to conditioner, you should only apply conditioner
midway of your hair to prevent hair fall. Such simple tricks, such major
differences!
